Comedian and author Chelsea Handler brought The High and Mighty Tour to Portland’s ARS Comedy Club on Friday, March 28. Portland residents will experience the highlight of Chelsea Handler performing live on stage for the first time in years when the famous comedian tours to Portland’s Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall on Friday 12th June 2026 as part of The High and Mighty Tour. One of the biggest stars in entertainment, Handler’s original take on life is sure to entertain audiences with her sharp observations and witted comments on everything. GA and reserved seating are $90-$195, depending on location. Handler will embark on the cross-country tour to perform in cities and towns across America – from Seattle to Portland and everywhere in between.
Chelsea Handler is an all-around action-journalist, TV star, New York Times best-selling author, and documentary filmmaker. Her books are Life Will Be the Death of Me and Are You There, Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea. It's kind of amazing that we still have "Chelsea Lately" on the air after 7 years on E!, which features real celebrities and actual people you may have heard of before on television. Chelsea Handler also stars in and produces her own talk show on Netflix called Chelsea. Yet, the takes she does live are still better than those.
The Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall is a 2,766 seat multi-purpose entertainment venue in the heart of downtown Portland, Oregon. Originally opened in 1928 as the Portland Civic Theatre, the venue has undergone considerable renovations and upgrades to transform itself into the state-of-the-art facility it is today. The theater has 2,776 seats in various locations throughout the theater with great sight lines and surround sound including some orchestra, mezzanine and balcony seats. Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall has been updated to include new seating, more space and additional concession locations.
There are several parking garages within walking distance to the hall as well as public parking available throughout the city. Please note that public parking availability may vary based on the day of the event. There are quite a few garages advertised around the hall, and I've always found a decent space after arriving reasonably early. Of course, prices vary.
