Neil deGrasse Tyson is the Frederick P. Rose Director of the Hayden Planetarium at the Rose Center for Earth and Space in New York City. He was born and raised in New York City and earned a Physics Degree from Harvard University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Astrophysics from Columbia University. In addition to publishing several bestsellers, Tyson is the host of the Emmy-nominated StarTalk Radio Show. In addition to his work on StarTalk, Tyson frequently appears on TV, including recent segments on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Real Time with Bill Maher. After the show Tyson will host his radio show StarTalk where he will continue to talk about a wide variety of subjects within the world of science. He currently answers fans’ questions in addition to discussing current events such as the Pentagon recently releasing UFO files as well as human’s innate curiosity to explore space. He has also talked about how science and pop culture are quickly becoming two subjects that can be mixed together to inform and educate audiences.
